Please Help! How Can I Stop My Husband From Making This Big Mistake?
Question by .: Please help! How can I stop my husband from making this big mistake?
Basically, my husband has been invited to a very big social do, where he could do a lot of networking. The person who invited him is a friend/ aquaintance from years ago, they don’t know each other very well. Now, my husband (who most of the time is a tee totaler) is thinking of buying some coke for the after party, for himself and any “friends” he makes. Now, I think this is a terrible idea A) Because he, and well almost everybody behaves like an ass hole when they’re high on coke B) It’s a good opportunity to network, and it would be good to have a clear head. C) Offering coke to people you don’t know well, looks desperate (like you’re trying too hard), and they get the wrong impression of you D) It’s in a public venue, and the idea of being thrown out for possesion of narcotics on a night where you could be networking is just too awful to think about. How can I persuade him not to do this? I’ve already said all of these things to him, is there some great phycological trick I can play on him to make him think it was his idea or something? Has anyone had experience of something like this?
I think that my husband is very nervous. There are going to be a lot of industry bigwigs, and he feels nervous. He doesn’t even usually drink, and no he’s not a closet coke head thankyou, he hasn’t taken coke for years.
Thankyou sodakian, that’s really useful 🙂

RiGoletto Rockwell | Fiend Soliloquy [Prod. By EP Beats] – Download The Technician here: www.sendspace.com (click on the link that says “download from sendspace”) Track # 12. You heard of them. You’ve seen them portrayed in film and television. They are the invisible people, the one’s we’d like to forget or better yet blame for their problems. In this song I discuss the issue of a female addicted to cocaine. I felt guilty writing this record because I found myself being judgmental and insensitive to what these people deal with. Imagine wanting to stop how you act, but being unable to because of some unexplained hold over you. I hope this record not only shows versatility from me, but more importantly it lets you into the windows of a fiend. This record took me about 7 months to create. The bulk of the time was feeling out the instrumental as it changes constantly. The subject came to me today, I had a previous one in mind, but new energy hit me and I changed it. This is a great record and I pray it touches someone out there. Thanks for listening. ~Rock
