Is It True That When You Are Pregnant Your Body Rejects Alcohol?

Question by Not here 2 make friends: Is it true that when you are pregnant your body rejects alcohol?
My friend told me alcohol will make you especially sick when you are pregnant. I am a college girl, pretty well known for my alcohol tolerance. on new years i couldnt even finish 2 glasses of champagne without a bad stomache. i cant even tolerate hard liquor anymore i have been drinking wine.

I havent had a period since dec. 3, im nauseous pretty much 24/7, smells make me nauseous, im hungry but the thought eating make me nauseous, and i have had lower abdominal cramps (feels like period but not blood). took a test (negative) on 12/21 i realize it was a little early…
I already know alcohol hurts fetuses. i DONT KNOW if im pregnant. the test i took on 12/21 was a blood test at the doctor. i thought it would be accurate.

You are a college girl… Take yourself to a doctor or the free clinic or somewhere and get a test ran cause this does not sound good.

Well, if your body doesn’t, your mind certainly should. If your child gets fetal alcohol syndrome, it will cause severe damage. I do not frankly know how much you have to drink to cause that, but err on the side of caution, please. You will never forgive yourself if you harm the child.

Mother Nature has her defenses, but you can get past them if you are careless. Please, please, not another drop of alcohol until you find out whether or not you are pregnant.
