Human chain in Wanaque highlights heroin addiction in North Jersey

Tim and Jackie Dolan, mourning the death of their son, Mathew, a former athlete at Lakeland Regional High School, from a heroin overdose last month, were among about 1,000 people who stood along a 2-mile stretch of Ringwood Avenue on Sunday afternoon in Wanaque in a human chain to call attention to heroin abuse and help those already battling addiction .
