Entheta is Scientology-speak for anything that may shake a Scientologist’s faith in Scientology.

Examples of Entheta may include the shooting and murder of Thomas Cianco, a father of 3, by Rex Fowler, a high-level Scientologist. Or the arson and attempted murder indictment of Gur Finkelstein, one of Scientology’s legal representatives in Israel. Or the recent deaths of Stacy Dawn Murphy, a 20 year old girl, and Patrick Desmond, a Marine Corps veteran, in Narconon, a Scientologist drug rehab chain.

What are some of the ways Scientologists deal with Entheta? How do Scientologists keep news of tragic goings-on in the world of Scientology from phasing their faith?
