so i understand having to take a drug and alcohol test/screening for a new job. like, a pre-employment thing to see whether or not they want to hire you, however,

i like to drink and i do…….i mean i would never go to work hammered or anything but it’s not illegal.

if a job conducts “random drug and alcohol tests” do they let you know in advance???? orrr…what about people like me that drink at night, while going out, etc. what if there is still a trace amount in your system?

obviously i’ve never worked anywhere that does these tests, and this a job working for a county…so yeah…just curious. thanks in advance!!
yeah i don’t know why i asked if they’d let you know when they were going to give the test…i’m tired…….

“Random” drug and alcohol tests are called “random” because they are taken without an employee’s knowledge that the “test” is going to be performed.
