Is This the Reason for My Negative Reaction to Marijuana ?

Question by EZ: Is this the reason for my negative reaction to marijuana ?
I recently discovered the disease of addiction in my grandfather for marijuana and mostly alcohol. My mother has done everything to avoid these traits by never touching a substance to abuse.

I have tried smoking marijuana on a couple occasions and had terrible reactions, very amplified effects compared to those participating with me. Could this be a sign of possible addiction in me ?
